West Cornwall shipwrecks

The steamer "City of Cardiff" was washed ashore by a strong gale, March 21st, 1912 at Nanjizel.

The Captain, his wife and son, and the crew were rescued by Sennen Rocket Brigade.

The vessel was left a total wreck. It's boilers can still be seen on a low tide.
